both are done in a glazing style similar to watercolor

the oil painting list has the same paints as used in watercolors.

​

For china painters, use the following colors

1.  flowers and buds - dull red for flowers and buds

2. golden leaves - yellow brown mixed with just a bit of dull red.

3.  brown green looking leaves - brown green plus a little dull red.
